Cancer immunology is an interdisciplinary discipline of biology concerned with studying the role of the system in cancer progression and development; the foremost well-known application is cancer immunotherapy, which employs the system as a cancer treatment.
The system is formed from a complicated network of cells and chemicals that employment together to stay disease at away. Many components of this network are being investigated by researchers, including cellular responses, antigen processing, cancer immunology, infection and immunity, and cell-based therapies, with the target of discovering effective novel cancer and other illness treatments.
